I don't know if you were able to tell or not, but the past few recipes that I have placed on the blog were leading up to your Easter Dinner. I may have to fix ours on the Saturday before since Bobby is serving in all 3 services behind the camera at Oasis. And those of you that know him, know how much he loves to eat and savors every bite. I hope that this menu helps you with your planning and gives you a way to avoid being in the kitchen for hours.
Easter 2012 Menu:
Orange Glazed Ham
May you all be blessed during this Easter Season. Remember that Easter is truly about the Resurrection of Jesus on that 3rd day, but is also about the family time with your children. Have fun with them...dye those eggs - hide them - and help them find them.
I remember when my kids were smaller and we were at my parents house for Easter Dinner. It was pouring rain, so we had to hide the eggs inside the house. The only problem with hiding them inside, is to remember everywhere they were hidden. To make a long story short, mom found a couple of eggs a few weeks later when she was cleaning her living room. Thank goodness they hadn't been cracked...that would have been an awful smell for sure.
